ABOUT ME

My lifelong interest in Chinese culture began with a college class in Chinese art history.  I have a B.A. in history from Washington University in St. Louis and a M.B.A. from the University of Arizona.

I lived in Asia for 13 years.  I was a Peace Corps volunteer in South Korea for 2 years working in a tuberculosis control project.  I worked and studied in Taiwan for 4 years and then in China for 7 years.

I presently work for a local food bank and have been a Red Cross disaster volunteer for the past 10 years.

I plan to discuss matters concerning my personal life in more detail at Skinny Rooster.
